We have all been moved by the devastating images of the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey. When we learned that many of the animals in the Houston area shelters were coming to Seattle, we knew we wanted to do our part. Hundreds of impacted cats and dogs have arrived at Seattle Humane in need of homes.
As a pet friendly company, we will be waiving the pet deposit and pet rent through the end of the year for any resident at our properties who fosters or adopts a dog or cat displaced by the hurricane. Simply bring the animal's paperwork to the leasing office and we will get you set up.
We hope this will encourage residents to consider helping these animals and maybe these cats or dogs from Houston will find a forever home at Pillar Properties
For those who are not in a position to take in an animal, we want to encourage you to donate to the relief effort through the Red Cross or the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
